Paul Battagliola organised an excellent tour of The Yum Yum Tree Fudge Factory at Bury St Edmunds on 10th March.
The fudge is made with British butter, British milk, and British sugar, mostly grown in East Anglia and the secret recipes are Gluten Free, Nut Free and without Eggs or Hydrogenated Fats, leaving you a great melt in the mouth fudge.
All flavours are lovingly created and developed to produce a superior product with a texture that is smooth and creamy, not too grainy, or chewy and cloying. They insist on all-natural flavours and natural colours, real extracts and real inclusions; Real mango chunks in the Alphonso Mango fudge, Fresh Rhubarb in the Rhubarb Fudge and the Carrot Cake Fudge is made with handmade Glace Carrots.
Needless to say there was plenty of tasting going on and a shop at the end so that we could indulge ourselves further.
