Roger Upward has arranged a visit to this museum.
The Fawley Hill Railway Museum is on the country estate of the late Sir William McAlpine near Henley-on-Thames. There is a 1.3 mile track around the estate with a wide variety of wildlife including rheas, peacocks, wallabies and fallow deer. There is an indoor museum with an extensive collection of model railways. (www.fawleymuseum.org). This is a private collection and entrance is by invitation only. We have been fortunate to have been invited back this year and have been allocated spaces for 10 cars (we visited in 2022) as part of their car club displays.
This event is on Sunday August 16 and display cars must be in place by 11am. A donation of £15 per person is expected.
As there is a waiting list of car clubs wishing to attend, we have to commit the number of vehicles attending by June 16. Please let Roger Upward know if you want to attend.
