Rosemary Nelson has arranged a tour of The Old Bailey and more.
Arrangements have been made for a London walk, incorporating a private tour of the Old Bailey courthouse on 21st March. Numbers are limited to 25 people and we think the cost will be around £25 per person.
We will meet at Liverpool Street Station at 10 am for a walk, led by a City of London qualified guide, to the Old Bailey. The walk may include the chance to view London from a skyscraper rooftop viewing platform. The Old Bailey tour will start at 12 noon and will last for about 90 minutes. More than just courtrooms, there will be the opportunity to see the beautiful architecture and decorations under the dome and perhaps visit the prison cells. We will then have lunch (suitable venues will be investigated) and this will be followed by a gentle 45 minute walking tour back to Liverpool Street station. (There is the option to take a bus from the station to the Bailey and back). Please let Rosemarie Nelson know if you would like to attend.
