We'll start our adventure with lunch at Saxsted Mill, followed by a visit to the historic Framlingham Castle, home to the dukes of Norfolk for over 400 years.

Details:
Date: April 11th
Lunch Venue: The Old Millhouse, Saxstead Mill, IP13 9QE, http://www.oldmillhouse-saxtead.co.uk/index.php/food/ , please note we have been informed that prices are subject to change Castle
Visit: Framlingham Castle, Located at IP13 9BP, tickets can be purchased in advance at a 10% discount (not available yet but we will let you know when booking is available for April) alternatively there is an option to pay on the gate. Entry is free for members of English Heritage if you show your membership card.

Itinerary:

12:00 PM: Meet at The Old Millhouse for lunch. The mill's charming atmosphere and delightful menu promise a perfect start to our day. Pre ordering of food is only required for the carvery to ensure that the correct amount of food is prepared but we need to confirm the numbers attending.

2:00 PM ish: After a satisfying meal, we'll drive to Framlingham Castle, a 10 minute drive, for an exploration of its rich history and breathtaking architecture.

Framlingham is an attractive small town with plenty of places for a coffee and for those interested in classic motorcycles I could also recommend a visit to Andrew Tiernan classics https://www.andybuysbikes.com/bikes.htm in Framlingham. He has one of the best collections of British motorcycles in the country for sale.

Please book if you would like to attend via gary.hawksworth@icloud and confirm if you would like to attend the Meal (and if you would like carvery or not), and the Castle.
